Spurrells Brook Restoration Project

This project will provide Atlantic salmon access to Spurrells Pond through the removal of a significant migration barrier caused by sedimentation due to excessive erosion along Spurrells brook. IBEC will implement stream bank stabilization and erosion control measures throughout the brook to decrease sediment loading, as well as remove sections of the sandbar which spans the mouth of the brook.
