Katchapahun fish way enhancement project on Moisie River by increasing water input during minimum flow.

This project will complete work to lower the concrete invert of the fishway water intake during minimum flow. It will improve the fish way operational margin, increase the duration of the structure operational period and increase the number of spawners migrating upstream. It will ensure an optimal use of the best available spawning grounds and habitats in the upstream area thereby increasing salmon productivity in Moisie River.
