Atlantic salmon habitat restoration

Groundwater spring excavation and headwater tree planting to increase environmental flows, increase shade, eliminate/reduce warm water events on Cole’s Creek. Riparian management for Atlantic salmon habitat such as planting, pruning, mapping, addressing upland issues and invasive species on Watt’s Creek and North River. Angling access trail creation/replacement and Canoe Access replacement to promote safe angling and reduce bank erosion/sedimentation on North River. Sediment trap excavation to improve juvenile Salmon habitat on Watt’s Creek. Blockage removal allowing access for salmon to headwater spawning areas on North River. Holding pool creation for staging on all salmon rivers.
