Wings Brook Enhancement Project

Wings Brook is located between Indian Bay Big Pond and Wing Pond, an area with a history of extensive logging activity. As a result, pulpwood can be found in most water bodies throughout the Indian Bay watershed, however, significant accumulations have been noted in Wings Brook.

The project will restore approximately 6.25km of critical Atlantic salmon and brook trout habitat along Wings Brook by removing large accumulations of pulpwood while ensuring adequate material remains to provide cover habitat and food sources for Atlantic salmon and Brook trout.
