Removal of debris and jams – Restigouche watershed

The goal of this project is to remove major woody debris on targeted river sections to prevent the creation of jams harmful to salmon habitat on Little Main Restigouche, Gounamitz, Southbranch Kedgwick, Patapédia, Northwest Upsalquitch, Southeast Upsalquitch Rivers and Jardine Brook. It also aims to locate beaver colonies on these river branches to characterize obstruction risks during low-water period.
