Little River Restoration Project

This project will address the following restoration activities: 1) repair, replace or modify existing in-stream structures, 2) replant trees and native vegetation, 3) determine a course of action to help prevent excessive channel movement 500 m section of the Little River in Upper Brookfield during flood conditions, 4) continue water analysis to contribute to the overall information used to plan future improvements to the Little River, and 5) engage in community outreach and education including information booths, public information meetings, “River walks”, school presentations, “Fisherama” and Shad Derby.
