Adurt Brook Restoration Project

The Adurt Brook Restoration Project will re-establish access to and restore habitat for Atlantic salmon in the Indian Bay Watershed. Adurt Brook is a tributary of Indian Bay River which supports a healthy run of Atlantic salmon that would greatly benefit from increased access to habitat upstream. There are several issues creating significant barriers for salmon migration to this area including woody debris accumulations, old logging dams and at least nine beaver dams.
